OUR HERITAGE

JC Thomas & Sons were established in 1924 in Wells, Somerset and was founded by Joseph Thomas. 

 

The business has continued to expand despite wars and recessions which have occurred over the trading years. 

 

During the early 1970's JC Thomas & Sons were taken over by Tony Thomas where the business expanded and out grew Wells which led to the business moving to Glastonbury.

 

In the late 1990's the business was handed over to 3 brothers who have developed the business, expanding it to another site in Yeovil which was purchased in 2006.

 

JC Thomas & Sons are one of the first scrap yards in the South West to invest in compression shear technology, all these advancements and growth show how we are ever expanding our geographical footprint.
